A full range of oral surgery is offered by Mr Amini, for localised conditions, or complex reconstruction needs. His care is led by a belief in the importance of listening to patients and sharing his in depth knowledge.
Mr Amini has extensive experience of working in the UK and Sweden. He qualified in dentistry at the prestigious Karolinska Institute in Stockholm in 1999, before coming to the UK for medical and surgical studies.
He is a member of The Royal College of Surgeons, holds a further doctorate from St George’s University and is on The GDC’s specialty register for oral surgery.
Alongside private practice, Mr Amini’s time as a maxillofacial consultant at the Royal Free Hospital has seen him treat a range of oral and facial conditions. Care for his patients always his first concern.
The support he offers can be for conditions such as mouth ulcers, cysts, or salvary glands. Patients seeking treatment for jaw conditions are equally welcome.
Mr Amini’s skills are valuable for more complex facial reconstruction, from skin surgery, to rebuilding and remodelling damaged areas. Tailored to treat historic trauma, or symptoms of a more recent accident.

Research & Teaching
Current research Mr Amini is assisting with includes osseointegration in relation to implant surfaces. He has previously published on a range of maxillofacial topics, including articles in the British Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
His insight has added to developing and assessing maxillofacial training. This has included the design of questionnaires for use before and after training, to assess baseline and improved knowledge, measuring the effectiveness of sessions.
Helping to take his profession forward is important to Mr Amini, who regularly gives time to support junior colleagues. A way to ensure that the high level of care he offers continues into the future.
